Ravi Kashyap an NRI is making a big leap from short film to feature film. He made ‘Sulle Sathya’ and now ‘Badmash’ with talented pair Dhananjay and Sanchita Shetty. Ravi saw the film ‘Directors Special’ and then sent his link of ‘SS’ to acquaint with the actor. When the contacted developed he realized Dhananjay is also from Arasikere. He has applied the corporate culture and that is possible to make good film he believes. ‘Badmash’ executive producer is richly talented Roopa Iyer director of ‘Mukhaputa’ and ‘Chandra’.

Srivatsa is heading the megaphone of ‘Badmash’. He says the film is like a newspaper. It has all the ingredients and so is the film. Dhananjay is conman, Sanchita is RJ and there is King role, Achyuth Kumar, Jehangir and others. There are 15 important characters in this screenplay driven cinema says Srivatsa who directed ‘Sulle Sathya’ for Ravi Kashyap.

This is a contemporary cinema and different from previous films, what I got as promise is early release of the film. My previous films took three and two years stated Dhananjay.

Bubbly heroine Sanchita Shetty is back to Kannada after six years gap. She is busy in Tamil films. This is very interesting role of teaching Kannada. There is curiosity and you scratch your head she says.
